Dancing Script - BRUSH
The dancing script is my version of Italic script partially written with the corners of the brush which is a big challenge! Namely, we - calligraphers mostly use hard tools that help us to be stable when writing with the corners of the nibs. This script I developed when I was practicing the Roman Capitals and needed a break from a steady hand and the precise geometrical strokes. The movement with the brush in this script creates beautiful rhythm, which forces your brush to start dancing on its edges - and that is why I call it so!

Flame - basic - BRUSH
I created the flame script, my own invention, when I was practicing Roman capitals... This script will help you achieve lightness of strokes and pick up the right amount of color, so it is also suitable for beginners. The "flame" or "road" strokes that can be found in each letter will guide us through the entire lowercase alphabet and in the end we will use them to create a simple layered design. It is always a real pleasure to see the work of the students in this workshop.

Neuland - BRUSH
From examples of these German characters designed in 1923 by Rudolf Koch will take us from this “heavy” writing to the light and transparent, written with a dry brush. This workshop is about learning all the letters of the alphabet. Letters are divided into groups so that we can learn them quicker. Also the second part of the workshop is about learning the letters. We will try to go through all the letters of the alphabet beside learning the dry brush method that makes letters transparent! Learning the manipulation of the brush will be a challenge. Playing with textures and layering will make your trip colorful, fun and immensely creative.

In this calligraphy workshop, you will be introduced to an advanced version of the beautiful Foundational hand. It is the most essential script to start with, learn the basics of spacing and the proportion. Like in all Latin scripts you will soon recognize the harmony of the elements that calligraphy world consists of. The workshop is primarily about learning the manipulation of the brush - changing the angles. This is a technique that makes a script really look beautiful. Roman Capitals - BRUSH
Roman Capitals, based on the magnificent inscription on Trajan’s column in Rome, are one of the most important letterforms for calligraphers and therefore are essential to understand the basic of all further letterforms. My own approach to these marvelous letters is a little different. As for all my brush script also for the Roman Capitals I use my dry brush technique, which make the letters lighter and transparent. We will go through all the letters (divided in different groups), step by step.

Rustic - BRUSH
This beautiful script comes from ancient Roman times. After the 5th century, Rustic Capitals began to fall out of use, but they continued to be used a script in titles. As it was also carved into stone it was written with a brush, too!
So, I took the script and the brush, added some modern details, colors, and shades that gave timeless beauty to its unique strokes. Although the script is 2000 years old, we can still make it lively and attractive. We can use it for the backgrounds, as an artwork with hidden messages or to cover a big empty space! The script is written with a lot of angle changing (manipulation), so it is suitable for more advanced level. However, beginners can work with only some letters, too.
